The Chase +1(SM) Student MasterCard®, issued by Chase, is designed for students who would like to take advantage of the rewards program.

Through the Chase +1(SM) program, cardholders earn one point per dollar spent on eligible purchases. Points are redeemable for exclusive group member benefits, such as music, movies, electronics, and more. Cardholders can earn additional points at Facebook.com/plus1.

In addition to the rewards program, the card provides common benefits that include extended warranty, purchase protection, and emergency card and cash replacement.

The card has no annual fee and a low introductory rate is available for purchases and balance transfers for up to the first six months. The interest rate for purchases and balance transfers is average and is not ideal for those who plan to carry a revolving balance.

Therefore, students who qualify for the lowest rate offered, can afford to pay in full each month (to avoid finance charges), and plan to take advantage of the Chase +1(SM) rewards program will benefit most from what the Chase +1(SM) Student MasterCard® has to offer.
